- Property and Financial Affairs LPA means your attorney (chosen person/people) can make decisions about your money and property, including managing bank accounts, paying bills, and selling property. This type of LPA can be used immediately after registration with the Office of the Public Guardian, or held in readiness until it is required.
- General powers of attorney or Ordinary powers of attorney are usually used for single transactions. These become invalid if you lose your mental capacity.
